So, what do you do now Carmen? Well, I am currently working for a translation agency in Spain and looking for work from other agencies to acquire more experience.
Ok then, tell us.. what are your translation fields? I’m especially interested in travel/tourism and advertising/marketing translation but I have also experience in other fields: legal, technical, financial, business, commercial, literature.. etc.
In what languages? Spanish/English and vice versa.
If you don´t mind me asking, what are your rates? Ok, for example general texts from 0,06 cents/word, for technical and specialized texts from 0,07 cents/word and proofreading 0,02 cents/word.. rates are negotiable.
And what about if I need the documents asap? For express delivery (24-48h) and weekend work, extra charge of 0,02 cents/word
How well can you concentrate? The average I can translate is around 2500 words per day but this could vary depending on many things, type of text, deadlines etc.
And if we want translation samples and references from previous works? Of course, they are available on this website.
